Step 1Design from a template or a blank canvas
On your dashboard choose New design, pick a size (Instagram post, Story, YouTube, banner, A4 or a custom size) or start from a template. The design editor opens with these tools on the left:
- Upload / Images — add your own pictures or ones from your library.
- Text — headings, captions and labels with font, size, spacing and alignment.
- Shapes — rectangles, circles, lines and more.
- Filters / Adjust — looks and light and colour adjustments for images.
- Background — a colour, or transparent for PNG and WEBP exports.
Use the Layers tab to reorder, lock, hide or rename elements. To change the canvas size, click an empty part of the canvas and use Resize to preset — keep Scale content ticked to fit your design to the new size. Reset returns the design to how it was when you opened it.
Step 2Edit a photo
Upload photos to your Images library (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, AVIF, BMP or TIFF) and open one to use the photo editor:
- Crop, Rotate, Resize — frame, straighten, flip and change the pixel size.
- Adjust — brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and sharpness, or Auto enhance.
- Filters and Enhance — one-tap looks and extra clean-up tools.
- Compare — drag the divider to see before and after, or hold \ to see the original.
- History — step back to any earlier edit, then save as a new copy or update the image.
No account yet? The Try for free editor works on a photo straight from your device — nothing is uploaded.
Step 3Make passport photos and print sheets
In the photo editor or your image library, choose Passport photos & print sheet….
- Pick a paper size (A4, Letter, 4×6 in photo paper and more) and the number of copies.
- Choose a photo size — passport/visa 35×45 mm, US 2×2 in, ID, stamp size or your own — and each copy is cropped from the centre to fit exactly.
- Set margins, spacing, alignment and cut lines, check the live preview, then download a print-ready PDF or one image per page.
Always check the official photo rules for your document before printing.
Step 4Create images with AI
On the Pro plan, open AI studio in the app, describe the image you want — or use your voice — choose square, landscape or portrait and select Generate image. The result is saved to your image library, ready to edit. See the AI & Technology Disclaimer.
Step 5Export and download
Select Export (designs) or Download (photos), choose PNG, JPG or WEBP (AVIF on higher plans), set the quality and size, and save. Paid plans unlock larger sizes and remove the watermark. Your exports are kept in your library.
