These terms explain how tokens and credits work on imageabc. They form part of our Terms & Conditions. In these terms, "tokens" and "credits" mean the same thing: units included with your plan that are used up when you use certain features.
1. What credits are for
Credits are currently used for AI image generation — turning a written or spoken prompt into a new image. AI image generation is included on the Pro plan. Editing, templates, exports and every other editor feature do not use credits; they are covered by your plan's normal limits shown on the pricing page.
2. Your monthly allowance
Each plan includes a monthly allowance:

On Pro, one AI image uses 5 credits. Your remaining number of AI images is shown after each generation.
3. When your allowance resets
- Your AI image allowance resets at the start of each calendar month.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
- If you upgrade to Pro part-way through a month, you can use the Pro allowance straight away.
4. Failed generations
You are only charged credits for images that are generated successfully. If a generation fails or times out, it does not count towards your allowance and you can try again.
5. Reaching your limit
When you reach your monthly allowance, AI image generation pauses until it resets. Nothing you have already created is affected — your images and projects stay in your library.
6. Value, transfer and refunds
- Credits are part of your subscription. They have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.
- Credits belong to your account and cannot be transferred to another account.
- Unused credits are not refunded. Refunds of subscription payments are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- If you cancel, you keep your allowance until the end of the period you have paid for. When your account moves to the free Basic plan, AI image generation is no longer available.
7. Fair use
Credits must be used through the imageabc app by the account holder. We may pause AI image generation on an account that tries to get around the allowance, uses automated scripts, or creates content that breaks our Terms & Conditions.
8. Changes to allowances
We may change the credits included with a plan. We will tell you in advance, and any change takes effect from your next billing period — never part-way through a period you have already paid for.
