This policy describes how imageabc, operated by Computer ABC System Centre Ltd., protects your account, your images and the information we handle.
1. Secure connections
All traffic to imageabc is encrypted with HTTPS. We send security headers that tell browsers to use secure connections and limit what pages can load.
2. Your account
- Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes; we never see or store them in plain text.
- Repeated failed sign-in attempts are temporarily locked out to stop password guessing.
- Sign-in sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies, and sensitive actions such as deleting your account require your password.
- Every request is checked on our servers so you can only reach your own projects and images.
3. Your images
Images in your library are stored privately in cloud storage. They are never public and can only be opened through short-lived signed links issued to your account. Work on the Try for free page never leaves your browser.
4. Uploads
We check the type, size and validity of every upload on our servers and reject files that are unsupported, damaged, too large or potentially harmful.
5. Payments
Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure page; we never see or store full card numbers. Plans are only activated after we verify the payment with the provider, so payment confirmations cannot be faked.
6. Administration
Access to administrative tools is restricted to authorised staff, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
7. Monitoring and abuse prevention
We rate-limit sensitive actions, log security events and monitor for unusual activity to protect the Service and its users.
8. Incidents
If we suspect a security incident we will act quickly to contain it, investigate, fix the cause and keep records, and we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and affected users where the law requires.
9. Helping us keep you safe
Use a strong, unique password, keep your browser and device up to date, sign out on shared computers, and keep copies of important originals.
10. No absolute guarantee
No online service can be completely secure. We take reasonable measures but cannot guarantee that every incident can be prevented.
11. Reporting a security issue
If you think you have found a vulnerability, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please do not access other people's data, disrupt the Service, or disclose the issue publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it.
